Hi there! I’m Amy! When I’m not behind the camera or at my computer editing, you can find me playing with my kids at the pool or hiking with my husband. I love serving people through listening and encouragement, and I’ll likely remember something totally random about you that you don’t recall telling me. (I hope that comes off as endearing and not creepy. If creepy, then just ignore.)

What do I love most about my job? I love capturing the way light illuminates hair, I love a wide-angle shot of the dance floor, and I love a close-up shot that shows your emotion right after your special someone says “I do.” I love the tiny details of your newborn, and I love watching the joy that comes from a dad throwing their kid up in the air. If you can’t already tell, I’m pretty obsessed with what I do. I’m most passionate about being creative and getting to experience people’s best moments through photography, and I hope I get the opportunity to show you that by working together.

Random and unimportant facts about me:

1. I’m a giant. Most people think I’m 6 feet tall but I’m actually 5’10” thank you very much.

2. I was the captain of my swim team all four years in high school. I wish my enthusiasm matched my athleticism.

3. Call over text; I almost always pick up. Why does everyone hate talking on the phone these days?

4. I’m a type 3 (the Achiever) on the Enneagram. My greatest fear is letting someone down or not meeting expectations.

5. #Carbsarelife. I could literally eat Top Ramen multiple times a week. I would be vegan before going paleo. Don’t take away my pasta.
